For now, few details have been revealed about the script of this Canadian film, which was shot in and around Vancouver. According to the film's Movieset.com page, this is the story:

Daydream Nation is a provocative yet humorous romance about a rural community shaken by the arrival of an acerbic teenage girl (Kat Dennings).

The film also stars Reece Thompson, Josh Lucas, Andie MacDowell, Natasha Calis, Landon Liboiron, Genevieve Buechner, Katie Boland, Ted Whittall, Quinn Lord, Calum Worthy, Luke Camilleri, Cole Heppell, Patricia Isaac and William J. Phillips.

Moreover, Broken Social Scene, a Canadian band, will provide the music for this film.

Finally, while it has been confirmed that the film will be at the Toronto International Film Festival, no theatrical release date has been confirmed.
