Today, Canadian director Jean-Marc Vallée (The Young Victoria) announced the leading cast of his upcoming film Café de flore. This Canadian co-production will begin filming in Montreal from August 16 to September 24. Afterwards, the production will continue in Paris from October 18 to November 19.
Besides French actress Vanessa Paradis, the leading cast also includes singer Kevin Parent in his first film, Evelyne de la Chenelière, Evelyne Brochu and Hélène Florent.
The film follows two love stories. The first one takes place in Paris during the 1960s and the other in Montreal in 2010. As the film advances, both love stories share striking similarities.
Finally, the film will come out in 2011 in Quebec.
