'Being Erica' Season 2 on DVD on Sept. 14

CBC, a public Canadian TV network, has announced on its shopping web site that the second season of its hit TV series Being Erica will be released on DVD in Canada on September 14.

This show, which is broadcasted in the USA and many European countries, follows Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a thirty-two-year-old woman from Toronto. In the second season, Erica works as a junior editor for a publisher and she seems to be in seventh heaven with her boyfriend (Tyron Leitso). Moreover, thanks to her therapy with Dr. Tom (Michael Riley), a therapist who sends her back in time (or in her possible future) to fix her regrets, Erica has gained more confidence in her judgement. However, she has to deal with her sister Samantha (Joanna Douglas) heading towards a divorce and Kai (Sebastian Pigott), a mysterious man she befriends.

The show also stars Reagan Pasternak, Morgan Kelly, Vinessa Antoine, Adam MacDonald, Paula Brancati, John Boylan, Kathleen Laskey, Sarah Gadon, Jeff Seymour and Dewshane Williams.

Obviously, the 3-disc DVD set includes all the 12 episodes from the second season. As for the special features, there will be bloopers, deleted scenes, audio commentaries and, most of all, Erica's weblogs. Finally, below is a video of Erin Karpluk promoting the DVD while on the set of Being Erica.
