Global, that Canadian private network which is barely interested in airing any original series, is organizing its marketing campaign for its police dramedy Rookie Blue. In these clips, you'll meet one of the five rookie cops in the TV series.
Andy McNally's (Missy Peregrym) father (Peter MacNeill) was once a respected detective, but he left the Toronto Police department with a tarnished reputation. This means that Andy would like to bring honour back in her family. However, when she's on the job, Andy feels like a fraud most of the time.
Dov Epstein (Gregory Smith) has been raised by hippie parents and is excited to become a policeman. After all, becoming it was his childhood dream.
Chris Diaz (Travis Milne) is a small-town boy who has landed in Canada's biggest city and he wasn't prepared for policing in a city like Toronto. Besides, he follows the police manual to the letter.
Traci Nash (Enuka Okuma) has been raised in a tough neighbourhood. She's also a party girl and, above all, a single mother. Besides, she hides the latter fact from her colleagues.
Gail Peck (Charlotte Sullivan) comes from a family of cops. Her father is next in line to be the chief of Toronto's police and she sees herself in the future as the chief of police. Besides, she'll crush anyone who gets in her way.
The show also stars Ben Bass, Eric Johnson, Matt Gordon, Noam Jenkins and Melanie Nicholls-King.
Finally, Rookie Blue will premiere in simulcast in North America on June 24 at 9 PM on ABC, an American TV network, and Global.
