'Loose Screws' on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 27

Severin Films, an American distributor, announced that the Canadian film Loose Screws, which was made in 1985, will make its debut on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 27.

This comedy belonging to the genre of Canuxploitation (Canadian B-films) follows four boys named Brad Lovett (Bryan Genesse), Steve Hardman (Lance Van Der Kolk), Hugh G. Rection (Alan Deveau) and Jason Warren (Jason Warren). They're forced to attend summer school at Cockswell Academy under the watchful eye of Principal Arsenault (Mike MacDonald). While there, the boys play a game where they earn points for scoring with a girl. Each decides to go for the ultimate 100-point score, Mona Lott (Cynthia Belliveau), the new French teacher. But when they're unable to get a shot at her, they end up in Principal Arsenault’s unforgiving clutches. After all is lost, they take one final chance during the school's anniversary celebration.

Finally, the film will be available at retailers July 27 for a list price of $24.95 for the Blu-Ray and $19.95 for the DVD.
