Today, The Cultural Post would like to thank its reader Gary Anderson. In fact, news came from him that the second season of the Canadian TV series Durham County will come out July 27th, 2010 in Canada. However, no U.S. release date is available.
In the second season, homicide detective Mike Sweeney (Hugh Dillon) got newly promoted after he arrested his neighbour Ray Prager (Justin Louis) for serial killings in the first season. While Mike tries to keep his family together, Audrey (Helen Joy), his wife, asks for a divorce. As for Saydie (Laurence Leboeuf), his daughter, she tries to psychologically get back on track given that she came really close in the first season to getting killed by Ray. Moreover, at work, Mike bonds with Penelope Verity (Michelle Forbes), a troubled forensic psychiatrist. While investigating a new murder, Mike finds himself caught in a game of cat and mouse against a much more cunning and ruthless criminal.
Obviously, the production is over for the third season of Durham County and a premiere date has yet to be announced by The Movie Network, a Canadian premium cable network.
Finally, you can pre-order Durham County's second season on the Canadian and American portal of Amazon. However, unlike the Canadian one, the American portal has the Blu-Ray available for pre-order.
