Fans of the Kids in the Hall - a Canadian comedy troupe made of Mark McKinney, Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch and Scott Thompson - no longer needs to wait. In fact, CBC, a public Canadian TV network, announced that the miniseries The Kids in the Hall: Death Comes to Town will be out on DVD on August 3, 2010.
This show, which was aired on CBC this winter, takes place in the fictive Canadian town of Shuckton, Ontario. After the town's demand for hosting the Olympics had been rejected, the mayor is found murdered. As a trial is held in the town, many people's secrets start to come out.
Finally, the DVD will be available in Canada on August 3. No American release date has been confirmed. However, Americans can see Death Comes to Town, because it will be aired on IFC, an American cable network, in August.
