As it revealed its 2010 fall primetime line-up essentially constituted of American TV series and reality shows (shame!), CTV, a Canadian private TV network, announced that it will renew its five original TV series for another season. As a matter of fact, the crime TV series The Bridge will get a second season.

We follow Frank Leo (Aaron Douglas), a street cop, is elected by his colleagues as the head of the police union. As he fights criminals, Frank tries to eliminate the corruption within the Toronto police department from top to bottom. He does that in order to protect his colleagues and the society.

The show also star Paul Popowich, Inga Cadranel,Genadijs Dolganovs, Frank Cassini, Theresa Joy, Ona Grauer and Michael Murphy.

Finally, no premiere date has been announced for The Bridge’s second season on CTV.
