The film is adapted from Jean Lemieux's novel On finit toujours par payer.
It takes place in the Magdalen Islands (Îles-de-la-Madeleine) in Quebec. The mayor's daughter had been brutally murdered and the inhabitants of the town are shocked and an investigation will be led.
Finally, the production on the film should begin in fall 2010 and the casting has yet to be confirmed.
