A few months ago, the first images of the upcoming Canadian TV series Shattered - which was shot in and around Vancouver, B.C. - surfaced on the net. Now, it's the turn of the show's first trailer to do the same thing.
First of all, this show created by Rick Drew is billed as a cross-over between A Beautiful Mind and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Callum Keith Rennie (Californication) plays Ben Sullivan, a homicide detective with a Multiple Personality Disorder. In the first moments of the series, Ben is bonded in blood to his tough and beautiful partner Amy Lynch (Camille Sullivan). While they work to solve the murder cases that cross their desk daily, Ben copes with the fascinating complexities of his disorder that he doesn't want to reveal to anyone (except a psychologist) and the uncertainty of never knowing which alternate personality will surface, or when.
Moreover, the show also star Karen LeBlanc (Defying Gravity), Clé Bennett (The Line), Molly Parker (Deadwood), Martin Cummins (Dark Angel), Gabrielle Rose (Robson Arms) and Colin Cunningham (jPod).
Finally, the show should premiere at some point in 2010 on Showcase, a Canadian cable network. The identity of the American broadcaster of the show hasn't been confirmed yet. Besides, if you watch the trailer, note that Callum Keith Rennie's character is named Kyle, because that was the first name given to his character in the pilot (way before Showcase had decided to bring some changes to Shattered).
