'18 to Life' Premieres Jan. 4 on CBC

Despite the fact that the American network ABC withdrew its financial support, "18 to Life" will be airing on a television or streamed on a computer near you (if you're a Canadian). Besides, 18 to Life, which was created and written by Derek Schreyer and Karen Troubetzkoy, will premiere Monday, January 4, 2010 at 8 PM on CBC.

Tom Bellow (Michael Seater) and Jessie Hill (Stacey Farber) have been neighbours for 12 years. At the tender age of 18 years old, they decide to say "I do" to each other. Of course, this also means that their parents will have to cope with this mariage whether they like it or not. Ben (Peter Keleghan) and Judith (Ellen David), Tom's parents, are a little bit socially conservative. Phil (Alain Goulem) and Tara (Angela Asher), Jessie's parents, are tree-huggers who like to rock out. However, when Tom and Jessie move into the attic of Tom's parents, new tensions between the two families come to the surface.

Finally, if you miss an episode on the day of its broadcast, you can watch the full episodes on the TV series's official web site.
